Embellish Magazine
is sponsoring a challenge using patterned paper and some great neutral colors. Last week I was straightening up my paper stack and came across this old Basic Grey paper from the Granola collection. I love using old paper. I used color blocking technique (I don't know if it counts as color blocking if you use busy prints. Probably not) to make the background.

I cut the strips too wide, so when I trimmed off 1/4 inch, I decided to make that into the little flower. Then I wrapped each loop in twine. I also used some knitted ribbon behind the horizontal strip of patterned paper.
